Jalgratta hooaeg on avatud
Pühapäeval avati Saaremaa jalgrattaspordi hooaeg traditsioonilise 10 km eraldistardist sõiduga Pihtla maanteel. Seekordse avavõistluse võit kuulus ajaga 13.58,8 Indrek Rannamale. Teise koha saavutas Rigo Räim (14.13,4) ja kolmanda Kevin Soon (14.28,2). Kuni 16 aastaste noorte hulgas edestas Steven Kalf (16.27,6) Karl-Patrick Lauka (18.12,1), mõlemad noormehed püstitasid antud aegadega ka enda 10 km isiklikud rekordid. Oma parimaid tulemusi ja kohti Pihtla maantee 10 km läbi aegade edetabelis parandasid veel Kevin Soon, Simmo Kikkas, Matis Sikk ja Ülar Jürviste. Täpsemad tulemused leiad protokollide lehelt.
Järgmised jalgrattavõistlused Saaremaal toimuvad juba eeloleval nädalavahetusel, kui laupäeval sõidetakse Ida-niidu elamurajoonis Kuressaare tänavasõit, mis on Eesti kriteeriumisõidu MV 1. etapp, ning pühapäeval starditakse Salmelt 3. Saaremaa Audi GP-le Ülo Arge karikale. Järgmine kohalik KV etapp toimub 1. mail.
