SJK Viikingi noorratturid võistles Eesti Meistrivõistlustel maastikurattasõidus
Pühapäeval 1. oktoobril toimusid Jõgevamaal Ehaveres noorte vanuseklasside Eesti MV maastikurattasõidus. SJK Viiking oli esindatud kahes vanuseklassis.
Kuni 18 aastaste juuniorite arvestuses startis raskele ja tehnilisele rajale 38 võistlejat, kelle hulgast väljus võitjana Tallinna KJK esindaja Martin Loo. Saarlaste esindaja Margus Magus saavutas oma esimesel suuremal maastikurattakrossil igati tubli 19. koha.
Kuni 14 aastaste poiste vanuseklassis oli 70 startijat, kelle hulgas ka 4 Viikingi esindajat. Võistluse võit läks Tartusse TÜSK-i esindajale Henry Rebasele, parima saarlasena oli Kevin Soon 11.. Peale starti esikuuikus olnud Mihkel Räim langes esimestel kilomeetritel rattarikke tõttu neljandasse kümnesse, kuid jõudis lõpuks finišisse 18. kohaga, kohe tema kannul lõpetas 19-ndana klubikaaslane Jörgen Matt. SJK Viikingi neljas esindaja Endrik Puntso jõudis lõpujoonele 45-ndana.
